TCU RB Kevorian Barnes appears to injure leg against Abilene Christian
Sep 1, 2025; Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA; TCU Horned Frogs running back Kevorian Barnes (2) scores a touchdown as safety Austin Jordan (1) celebrates and North Carolina Tar Heels defensive back Thaddeus Dixon (1) defends in the third quarter at Kenan Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Bob Donnan-Imagn Images TCU running back Kevorian Barnes was down for an extended period of time after a 7-yard gain late in the second quarter of the Horned Frogs' home game on Saturday against Abilene Christian in Fort Worth, Texas.
The senior transfer from UTSA was grabbing the back of his left leg. He did get up and walked gingerly off on his own.
Barnes, who rushed 11 times for 113 yards, including a 75-yard score in the season-opening 48-14 victory at North Carolina on Sept. 1, has 10 carries for 43 yards on Saturday against the Wildcats.
Barnes walked -- again on his own -- with TCU trainers to the locker room before halftime with TCU ahead 28-0.
