Jordan Woodruff Team Liquid and GAM Esports prevailed on Monday in their Round 3 Low Matches at the 2024 League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage in Berlin.
Team Liquid swept paiN Gaming 2-0 with a 37-minute win on green and a 29-minute triumph on red at the $2.225 million championship event.
GAM Esports rebounded from a 21-minute loss to Mad Lions KOI on green with a 42-minute win on green and a 27-minute victory on red to clinch the match.
The Swiss Stage format sorted 16 teams into eight Round 1 matches, with Rounds 2 through 5 seeded based on win-loss record. Teams that reach three wins advance to the knockout stage, while teams that wind up with three losses are eliminated.
Elimination and advancement matches are best-of-three, while all others are best-of-one.
