Teammates Fight Over Free Kick; Winner Blasts It In

Jermain Defoe and his Toronto F.C. teammate Gilberto got into an ugly little fight while deciding who was going to take the free kick in the 72nd minute against the Red Bulls. As Gilberto was holding the ball, readying himself, Defoe confronted him and tried to slap it out of his hands. Undeterred, Gilberto picked it back up and took the shot, and was it ever a shot. He absolutely smoked it, to give Toronto a 2-1 lead and all Defoe could do was laugh.
