Texans CB Kareem Jackson Tweets A Dominican Cockfight

Well, this is one way to spend one's last NFL paychecks before the impending labor doom arrives.

Kareem Jackson, out of Alabama, the 20th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, apparently needed to flee the brutal cold of Houston, Atlanta, and Miami, the three homes he lists on Twitter. So he set off to the Dominican Republic, where outbreaks of cholera and legal cockfights are just some of the nation's many splendid tourist pastimes.

And you wouldn't believe it, but he loved what he saw, and figured he should report back to us! CBS Houston has the story:

Look at all these people that be at these chicken fights, you would think its a college football game.

Now, he's not committing Vick-sized offenses or anything, but, nonetheless: really, Kareem? You've already become a talk radio meme for your poor coverage skills. And not just any meme, but the most sickening kind of meme—you're so bad that Football Outsiders can agree with talk radio, and note that you're the "worst everygame starter in football." So you might be advised to cool it with the cockfighting tweets. Just a thought.
