The Best And Worst Beat Reporters In Baseball: AL West
Welcome back to The Beat-Off, our crowd-sourced effort to determine the very best and the very worst reporters in Major League Baseball. Last week, we covered the National League. Today, we turn our attention to the American League. We'll start with the AL West.
We've organized the threads by team. Check out some model threads like these ones on the Nats, Mets and Giants. Jump in the discussion down below and tell us why your favorite/least-favorite reporter is the best/worst. If you can, try to reply in your team's thread (it keeps things organized!). And don't just give us the name of a reporter. Explain your answer, ideally without saying something stupid about "bias."
The lists below are not exhaustive; the names are there to get the conversation started. Last week, we missed Giants blogger Grant Brisbee. Though not a beat reporter by trade, we were quick to learn that he is probably the most popular team-oriented baseball blogger on Earth. If we missed someone, do let us know.
NL West: [ Dodgers] [ Giants] [ Diamondbacks] [ Rockies] [ Padres]
