These Patriots Scandals Keep Getting Lamer
Well, I'm sure it's just a coincidence that we're now hearing about the time the New England Patriots might have taped their opponents' practice right before Super Bowl XXXVI.
Someone's telling the Boston Herald that someone on the Patriots video staff stuck around after their own practice on this day six years ago to tape a St. Louis Rams walkthrough. This, of course, after they were caught filming the Jets this year as the coaches flashed defensive gangsta signals.
So... that's it? That's the whistleblower's story? A slow-mo walkthrough the day before the Super Bowl? What's next, they taped Mike Martz's pregame speech? Kurt Warner kissing his wife? Adam Archuleta taking a dump? That's as weak an allegation as you can get at this stage during Super Bowl Week. From now on, I don't want to hear anything incriminating unless it's big time stuff, such as dead strippers. And not just allegations of dead strippers. We need to see the body or bodies, otherwise I'll be left unimpressed and empty inside.
