This 12-Year-Old Little Leaguer Is Roughly The Size Of Kevin Youkilis
Meet Chad Lorkowski. Although this boy looks old enough to comfortably buy cigarettes without being carded, he is 12 years old. Yes. Seriously.
Lorkowski plays first base and pitches for Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League in Detroit. He's listed at a ridiculous 6 feet 2 inches and 200 pounds.
Lorkowski's gigantic stature isn't just a novelty. He's legitimately dominant. Here's an excerpt of a recent game recap from the Hamilton Journal-News:
Needing to win, [manager Tom] Mazzola started ace Chad Lorkowski, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound man-child, who went 3 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts and five walks and also crushed a long two-run home run. But the good news for West Side is that Lorkowski threw 69 pitches, which means he cannot pitch in Thursday's game.
Let's get some context on this giant goddamn kid, in terms of his Little League competition. Check him out in the batter's box:
Lorkowski is one inch taller and 20 pounds lighter than Kevin Youkilis. Holy fuck.
