Tony LaRussa Plays Some Skynyrd, Man
This image was lost some time after publication. What would life be like if Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa spent his offseason travelling around and going to rock shows? (As opposed to saving saving puppies and generally being a pain in Anna Benson's "tiny-brained animals" hide.)
The endlessly entertaining Card Carrying Rocker attempts to answer the question, with a mock (we hope!) Tony hopping shows at Mississippi Nights by Laclede's Landing, documenting his intense rocking to bands as thrash as Iron & Wine, Def Leppard, Jethro Tull and Bryan Adams.
We love this idea, Tony banging that pseudo-mullet around shows and adopting kittens. Our favorite is when he goes to a Neil Diamond show and runs into a black leather jacket-wearing Bob Costas. Endless fun. Enjoy.
