Video Shows Michael Bennett Being Cuffed By Las Vegas Police
Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett posted today about a Las Vegas police officer pinning him down on the ground and threatening to “blow [his] fucking head off” during the weekend of the Mayweather-McGregor fight.
TMZ has now posted a video showing Bennett down on the ground being handcuffed by a police officer on his back. In the video, you can hear Bennett telling the officer, “I wasn’t doing nothing, man.”
Bennett said he has retained civil rights attorney John Burris to explore legal options against the LVMPD. His brother, Martellus, posted on Instagram about receiving a call from Michael after the incident, recalling the “fear in his voice,” which is evident in the video TMZ obtained.
A call to the LVMPD office for comment and further information on Bennett’s incident was referred to email, and we will update if more information is made available.
