Watch Arsenal Players Try And Fail To Talk Like New Yorkers
We've all had one too many drinks and suddenly decided it was a great time to impress people with our spot-on English accent. Right? Right?!?
OK, maybe not. But now the boys from Arsenal are returning the favor and it's pretty funny.
To promote their upcoming friendly against the New York Red Bulls, Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Serge Gnabry, and Mathieu Flamini all did their best impersonations of New Yorkese with all the catch phrases you expect. Fuggedaboutit! Are you talking to me? Can I get a cup of coffee?
(Yes, we know the Red Bulls play in New Jersey. You know what? So do the Giants and the Jets. Deal with it.)
Clearly, these boys aren't cut out to be New Yorkers, but an honorable mention goes to Jenkinson for his a damn fine "I'm walking here!" that includes arm flapping and head shaking. Then keep watching to hear them try really, really hard to nail that awww sound in cup of coffee. Like scoring goals, it's harder than you think.
