Madonna, Shakira and K-pop group BTS will headline the first halftime show in the 96-year history of the FIFA World Cup.

They will star in a Super Bowl-style halftime show curated by Coldplay singer Chris Martin during the break in the tournament final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

The show aims to raise $100 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which improves access to quality education and soccer for children around the world.

Martin announced the musical lineup in a post Wednesday on X along with "Sesame Street" characters Elmo, Cookie Monster, Kermit the Frog and Kermit's firend, Miss Piggy.

This summer's World Cup will also feature musical acts at the opening ceremonies in all three host nations: J Balvin, Danny Ocean, Mana and Tyla in Mexico; Alanis Morissette and Michael Buble in Canada; and Katy Perry, Future, Anitta and LISA in the U.S. at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium.
