World Junior Championships Linesman Levelled By Czech Player
Michal Plutnar of the Czech Republic just ran over a linesman in a World Junior Championships game against Canada. I'm not sure how many times the broadcasters asked, in various ways, "what was he thinking," but it was a lot.
Plutnar, unhappy that Team Canada was shooting at the net with his goalie unprepared for a hunk of rubber heading his way as time expired in the second period, decided to teach a lesson. Unfortunately for him, a linesman got in the way.
Miraculously, Plutnar was only given two minutes for roughing.
