Would You Trade AFC Championship Tickets For A Vasectomy?
The offer's out there for anyone interested. Dr. Steven Broman of Fort Collins, Colo. is bringing back barter: Give him tickets to the AFC Championship Game, and receive a vasectomy in return.
Broman already has season tickets and will be attending the Pats-Broncos game, but he's doing the surgery-for-football swap to get seats for his staff. (And presumably, some easy publicity.)
The vasectomy normally costs around $1,000, so if your tickets aren't that great, and you aren't looking to have any more children, it could be a sound financial decision. Plus, you can spend part of the 48-hour recovery time on a couch, watching the game from home. It's a win-win, where one of the wins involves ball surgery.
