ESPN Reporter Walks Off In Middle Of Live Shot
That’s Todd Archer, ESPN’s Dallas Cowboys beat man, just up and taking off on Hannah Storm during today’s 10 a.m. Eastern edition of SportsCenter. Just a hunch, but from the way he appears to reach into his pocket and glance at his phone before ghosting, Archer may have gotten a call (from a source?) he just had to take. Or maybe he spotted someone he’s been hot to get a quote from, and there was little time to waste.
A producer indicated Archer may have been running after Tony Romo, whose locker and jersey number have been reserved by the Cowboys, on the off-chance Romo decides to un-retire. I’ve asked Archer why he walked off, and will update if I hear back. Hope you got your interview, Todd!
