GoDaddy.Com Reveals Its Annual Suggestive Ad Destined To Anger People
This is courtesy of Ad Week's complete Super Bowl XLIII commercial preview.
It's always amazing to me that GoDaddy.com scrapes together enough money each year to buy time during the Super Bowl, but they do.
I mean, how many people buy domain names these days? And isn't always amusing how people remember their ads, but still can't figure out what exactly GoDaddy does? When I initially saw it, I thought it was a Go-Kart company. For whores. But since 2005, GoDaddy.com's been knocking these things out and traffic to their site goes through the roof. I guess that's what $3 million worth of page views looks like.
Another observation: you're telling me if the bubble-chested airhead at the end of the spot licked a piece of broccoli this thing would have been banned?
