LP Field Will Soon Be Suitable Only For Water Polo (Photo Update)

The Titans' stadium is already being threatened by rising floodwaters, and a possible dam release could put the whole thing underwater within hours.
After a weekend of torrential rains, Middle Tennessee is dealing with some of the worst flooding in memory. The Cumberland River in Nashville have steadily been rising, creeping ever closer to LP field, built right by the riverbank. And things might be getting worse in a big hurry.
The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore has reported that the Army Corps of Engineers is planning to open up a dam to relieve pressure upstream, and that they've shut off power at LP Field. Putting two and two together, by tonight, the stadium may no longer just be on the bank of the river.
Something about this franchise must be cursed, because, I don't know if you've heard, but Oilers are in the news for all the wrong reasons these days.
[UPDATE: The field is now underwater.]
