Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey Make History With A Pair Of Grand Slams
San Francisco Giants teammates Madison Bumgarner and Buster Posey made MLB history Sunday against the Diamondbacks by becoming the first starting pitcher-catcher pair to ever hit grand slams in one game.
Posey struck first with a grand slam to deep left in the fifth inning to give the Giants a 4-1 lead.
Bumgarner completed the second half of the feat in the next inning when he smacked a grand slam to left for an 8-1 lead. It was Bumgarner's second grand slam of the season. (He has two homers on the season, so he basically only hits grand slams.)
The fan with the "SNOTROCKET" jersey was pretty pumped.
