Mike Keenan Will Coach In Russia, And Made This Weird Video To Say Hi
After four years away from the bench, Mike Keenan will take the reins of the KHL's Metallurg Magnitogorsk. The team announced the deal with this video, which combines the best of Russian production values with Keenan's inimitable charisma.
It's a two-year contract, because Keenan is physically incapable of staying at a job longer than that without making his players and front office want to shank him in the locker room. We look forward to his forthcoming series on Youtube. (Or as Keenan pronounces it, "...Youtube?" I'm convinced he's never heard of it before and thinks it's an untranslatable Russian word.)
