Now Prosecutors In The Jerry Sandusky Case Have Inadvertently Released The Names Of The Alleged Victims
From Sara Ganim's latest for the Patriot-News of Harrisburg:
The state Attorney General's Office had filed the document Monday as an attachment to a filing about discovery evidence that has been turned over to Sandusky's legal team.
The attachment is about 30 pages. Prosecutors filed a request to have it sealed today after realizing it "inadvertently contains a number of names of individuals associated with the investigation of this matter."
The document wound up being posted on the Centre County (Pa.) court's website. This afternoon, Judge John M. Cleland granted the request to have it sealed, in accordance with his prior order that the alleged victims' names not be released. The prosecution really appears to be doing its best to screw this case up.
