Open Thread: The Rest Of The Day
We've already had a pretty solid day of basketball, and we're only about 3/8th of the way through it. The set of three including Vanderbilt/Washington State, Boston College/Georgetown, and Virginia Commonwealth/Pitt should be tipping off, oh, any time now. Consider this your open thread for Indiana/UCLA and Michigan/North Carolina, too.
The highlight, for me, I believe, will be the Eric Maynor show in the VCU/Pitt game. Granted, taking down the Panthers is a little bit taller order than taking down Duke, but my man is up to it. I can feel it. It felt like in that game against Duke that he just had no respect for white people. He's coming for you, Aaron Gray.
There's also old Big East rivals Georgetown and Boston College renewing acquaintances, with some big league talent in that game. And in the late session, I expect Carolina will win, mainly because Tyler Hansbrough is PSYCHO!, but in the tournament, if a guy like Drew Neitzel gets hot ... you never know.
