Real Salt Lake acquire Saba Lobjanidze from Atlanta United

Mandatory Credit: Mady Mertens-Imagn Images Real Salt Lake acquired veteran midfielder Saba Lobjanidze and a 2028 third-round draft pick from Atlanta United on Wednesday.
In exchange, Atlanta will receive up to $725,000 in general allocation money.
Lobjanidze, 31, recorded 15 goals and 21 assists in 93 regular-season and playoff games with Atlanta from 2023-26.
He previously played for Dinamo Tbilisi in his native Georgia and for clubs in Denmark and Turkey.
The United will receive a guaranteed $625,000 in 2026 GAM and up to $100,000 in 2027 GAM if Lobjanidze re-signs with RSL.
