Report: Another LIV vendor suing over missed payments

LIV Golf is facing another lawsuit over allegedly unpaid bills.

Front Office Sports reported that Deltatre, a sports technology company, sued for breach of contract, saying it was owed nearly $860,000 for services provided. Deltatre is seeking approximately $935,000 to cover the unpaid bill, interest and attorneys' fees.

The lawsuit was filed May 22 but it was not reported by Front Office Sports until Wednesday.

The future of the entire league is up in the air.

LIV Golf informed the majority of its workforce on Wednesday that they will be laid off in the first week of September.

The news came three days after the 2026 season concluded in Indianapolis and four months after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund announced it was ending its financial support after spending more than $5 billion over the past five years. LIV officials hope to reboot the league in 2027 under new investors.

LIV is facing at least two other lawsuits over unpaid bills.

Front Office Sports reported that Fresh Tape Media, the producer of the league's preseason media days in January, is seeking more than $1.23 million in missed payments and interest. In addition, technology provider Mobii Systems Group Limited has sued to recoup more than $1.1 million, alleging breach of contract, unpaid invoices and interest. Other vendors and contractors have told FOS they are also owed money by the league.

At the season finale last week in Indianapolis, LIV CEO Scott O'Neil said the league was "doing everything we can to make sure we can do right by them."
