Rougned Odor's Been A Shit For A Long Time

Would it surprise you to learn that Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor, the dude who landed a right hook on Jose Bautista’s jaw and created one of the most memorable GIFs in baseball history, isn’t new to this whole punching people thing?

The clip above comes from a 2011 game between the Spokane Indians and Vancouver Canadians, minor league affiliates of the Rangers and Blue Jays, respectively. That guy you see making a hard slide into second is a young Rougned Odor. And look at that, he’s still using the same shove-right-hook combo all these years later.

Also, it’s kind of funny to see Odor get punching-mad over a dirty slide when he seems to have no problem going hard into a guy’s legs. Remember this play from last season?
