Michael Jones added 15 for the Cardinal (3-1), while Maxime Raynaud tallied all 14 of his points after halftime. Jared Bynum finished with 11 points, nine assists and five rebounds as Stanford connected on 54.8 percent of its field goal tries and made 12 of 25 3-pointers.
Ethan Price scored 19 points for the Eagles (0-4), who played their fourth straight road game. Cedric Coward added 14, while LeJuan Watts and Casey Jones each contributed 10 points. Eastern Washington sank 13 of 29 3-pointers but was outrebounded 39-28 and committed 16 turnovers that led to 22 points.
Watts converted a three-point play with 14:15 left in the game that drew the Eagles within 58-48 but they never got that close again. The Cardinal blew it open with a 14-2 burst that Stojakovic capped with a 3-pointer at the 10:25 mark for a 72-50 cushion.
Benny Gealer came off the bench to chip in 13 points for Stanford, which played without starting forward Brandon Angel (hand) for the second straight game.
It was hard to tell that Eastern Washington came into the game with a winless record, given how it played most of the first half. The Eagles raced out to a 16-4 lead less than four minutes into the game as Coward drained three 3-pointers.
The margin was still 12 at the 9:07 mark when Price drilled a 3-pointer. But Ryan Agarwal's 3-pointer on Stanford's next possession seemed to completely change the game's tenor.
That started a run of 14 straight points for the Cardinal with Bynum giving them the lead for good on a long 2-pointer with 7:15 left in the half, making it 27-26. Bynum capped the half by finding Stojakovic for a 3-pointer with five seconds remaining, giving Stanford a 47-35 advantage.
