Steelers K Chris Boswell Kicked Out Of Penguins Game
Boswell not pictured. Photo: Gregory Shamus/Getty Images Steelers kicker Chris Boswell says he was ejected from last night’s Penguins 6-0 Game 6 win in Pittsburgh for getting overly excited during a rare SCF line brawl.
That would make it midway through the third period, as the Pens and Preds dropped gloves with 8:28 left. I strongly disagree with Boswell’s assertion that the Penguins won both fights—Viktor Arvidsson most definitely beat the crap out of Carl Hagelin. (Third video down here.)
At least Boswell got to see all the scoring. Though maybe the score would’ve finished 7-0 if he had been allowed to stick around. (That’s an extra point joke. Roll with it.)
Some other Steelers were in the house. Ben Roethlisberger and his offensive line were there, though their seats weren’t as good as Boswell’s:
However, the advantage, if not the series lead, still belongs to Marcus Mariota and his rowdy (and later shirtless) O-line from the conference final.
