Valkyries F Gabby Williams to make debut in Unrivaled next season

Mandatory Credit: Kevin Ng-Imagn Images Forward Gabby Williams of the Golden State Valkyries has signed a multi-year contract with Unrivaled, which tips off its third season in January.
Williams, 29, will be making her debut in the 3-on-3 league based in Miami. Players' team assignments will be announced at a later date.
"The opportunity to compete alongside some of the best players in the world, continue growing my game, and be part of something that is pushing women's basketball forward is truly special," Williams said in a news release from the league.
Williams is averaging a career-high 16.3 points per game along with 3.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 26.7 minutes in 15 games (all starts) in her first season after signing as a free agent with Golden State. She is making a career-best 37.8% of her 3-point attempts (31 of 82).
For her career, Williams averages 8.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 25.3 minutes in eight seasons with the Chicago Sky (2018-20), Seattle Storm (2022-25) and Valkyries.
She was an All-Star last season with the Storm, when she made the WNBA All-Defensive first team and had 99 steals -- tying for second most for one season in league history.
The Sky selected her fourth overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft out of UConn.
Williams earned bronze and silver medals playing for France at the Olympics in 2020 and 2024.
