If Only This Would Happen On The Words "Boo-Yah"
This image was lost some time after publication. We didn't watch too much Nickelodeon as a kid, if just because we were constantly being sent outside to mow the lawn. Pretty much everyone we know was weaned on it, though, particularly that show "You Can't Do That On Television," where they dumped the green slime on you every time you said "I Don't Know."
Well, the kids at Sportszilla have made a connection between old-time Nickelodeon and current-day ESPN, pointing out that, "The Entertainment and Sports Network has, apparently, created a hell of a Celebrity Bubble. There is no real competition for what they're doing. ... Is Kenny Mayne a real celebrity? Of course not, but he gets A-list treatment at the ESPYs, which are ESPN's Kids' Choice Awards; a self-fellating charade disguised as an awards show."
Our favorite comparisons are the "Pardon The Interruption" hosts as Kenan and Kel, and Linda Cohn to Lori Beth Denberg from "All That." We're not sure what that means, but someone else in the room, who immediately yelled "I! DON'T! KNOW!" when we said the words "green slime," assures us it makes sense.
